Privacy Policy
Here is how PRceptive collects, uses, and protects your information, in plain English.
01 Introduction
Welcome to PRceptive ("we," "us," or "our"). We operate the website prceptive.com (the "Site") and we design and build websites and provide marketing technology and automation services for local businesses (together, the "Services"). This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
By using our Site or Services, you confirm that you have read and understood this policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use our Site or Services.
02 Information we collect
Information you give us
We collect the information you choose to provide, such as when you fill out a form, book a call, or contact us. This may include:

- Email address
- Phone number
- Business name and the trade you are in
- Your website address, if you have one
- Anything else you send us through a form, a booking, or a message
Payment information
If you buy a paid service, our payment processor collects the payment details needed to complete your purchase. We do not store full card numbers on our own systems. Payments are handled by trusted processors that keep your card information secure.
Information we collect automatically
When you visit our Site, we may collect some technical information automatically, including your IP address, browser type, device information, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit.
Communications
When you call, text, or message us, we may keep a record of that communication, including phone numbers and the content of messages, so we can respond and improve our Services.
03 How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Build, run, and maintain your website and the systems behind it
- Respond to your questions, requests, and bookings
- Send you messages about your account and Services
- Send updates or offers, where you have agreed to receive them

04 Text messaging and SMS
We and the businesses we work with may send text messages to phone numbers that have agreed to receive them. The texts you receive may include account and service notifications, appointment or booking reminders, replies to your messages, and, where you have agreed, promotional offers.
- Consent: You agree to receive texts when you give us your phone number on a form or a booking, or when you text us first. Agreeing to texts is never a condition of buying anything.
- Frequency: Message frequency varies depending on how you interact with us.
- Rates: Message and data rates may apply.
- Opt out: Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help, or contact us using the details in the Contact section.
- Carriers: Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We do not sell your phone number. Your mobile number and your consent to receive texts are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing.
05 How we share your information
We will never sell or rent your personal information. We share it only in these situations:
- Service providers: We use trusted third party tools to run our Services, such as website hosting, our booking tool, our payment processor, and the software that powers the calls, texts, reviews, and lead inbox. They only handle your information to provide those services to us.
- Legal reasons: We may share information if the law requires it, or to respond to a valid legal request.
- Protecting people: We may share information to protect the rights, property, or safety of PRceptive, our customers, or the public.
- Business transfers: If our business is merged, acquired, or sold, your information may be part of that transfer.
06 Information we handle for our clients
When we run websites and systems for a business, we may process information about that business's own customers and leads on their behalf, such as names, phone numbers, and messages. In those cases we act as a service provider to that business, we use the information only to provide the Services they hired us for, and that business's own privacy policy governs how the information is used.
07 Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the Site working, understand how it is used, and improve it. The main types are:
- Essential cookies: Needed for the Site to function.
- Analytics cookies: Help us see how visitors use the Site so we can make it better.
- Embedded tools: Features like our booking calendar or chat may set their own cookies when you use them.
- Marketing cookies: If we run ads, these help us measure how they perform.
Most browsers accept cookies by default, and you can change your browser settings to refuse them. Turning some cookies off may affect how parts of the Site work.
08 Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No system is ever completely secure, so while we work hard to protect your information, we cannot promise absolute security.
09 Data retention
We keep your information only as long as we need it to provide the Services and to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. When it is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.
10 Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access a copy of the information we hold about you
- Correct information that is wrong or incomplete
- Delete your information, with some legal exceptions
- Opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link, or texts by replying STOP
- Receive your information in a portable, machine readable format
To make a request, contact us using the details in the Contact section. We will respond within a reasonable time and as the law requires. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.
California residents
If you are a California resident, you also have the right to know the categories of personal information we collect and the purposes we use it for, as described in this policy. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
